About Seven Branches Counseling

Seven Branches Counseling is named after my six siblings: my first friends, teachers, and confidantes, of which I am the very middle. Seven branches off of the same tree - each unique, vibrant, and full of wonder. My upbringing on a rural South Georgia farm is woven into every facet of my practice and how I see the world. Curiosity, freedom, and independence are values that have guided me to this point. Welcome to my practice.

At the very heart of my work is a commitment to learning people and helping them discover what’s important to them as they navigate mental health conditions and life stressors. I have completed clinical internships in a variety of settings, including: Emory Behavioral Hospital, San Quentin Prison, HealthRight360, GEO Group, San Francisco Parole & Probation Department and more. My counseling interests include criminal justice reform, family reunification, navigating family estrangement, and childhood neglect advocacy. I am currently working on several group therapy curricula and plan to go live with groups soon via Seven Branches Counseling.

In my spare time, you’ll likely find me tending to my garden, creating new recipes in the kitchen/feeding loved ones, spending time in the sun, reading, and collecting miniatures.
